Hi!

I’m not long back from beautiful Arizona where I trained and received certification in another semi permanent mascara product. I already started my test drive applications and could tell you that I strongly suspect that this is the system I will be offering. Immediate client feedback has been more positive in comfort and appearance. I just need to make sure that it does not have any ill effect on the natural lashes. Stay tuned, I will be providing more information shortly! Love new and exciting developments in Lashland :)

The biggest beauty trend sweeping the nation right now is long, luscious eyelashes. With the latest products and treatments, it’s easier and cheaper than ever to get eye-popping results.
You’ve seen the commercials promising big, black, feathery and fanned out lashes, but can these products really up your batting average?
“We’ve seen some really exciting innovations,” said Krista DeMaio, beauty editor at Redbook Magazine.
Long, lush lashes have always been in style, but today the market for eye accessorizing is booming with everything from growth serums and vibrating brushes to lash extensions and even eyelash transplants. Experts say these latest products and treatments are creating dramatic before and after results.
“You could do very subtle all the way to super red carpet glam,” eyelash extension expert Ria Hountas-Pagliaro said.
The stars’ secret to luscious lashes is eyelash extensions.
“This is an instant way to feel pretty and gorgeous,” Hountas-Pagliaro said.
For about $400 Hountas-Pagliaro will go to great lengths to transform thin, light lashes into a long, luxuriously thick set — one lash at a time.
Nancy Candee loves her new look so much she said she doesn’t bat an eye over the cost.
“I don’t buy lattes so I can have lash money,” Candee said. “It’s a little luxury that I make room for.”
But if this fringe-altering option sounds too extreme, take a look at what cosmetic companies have come up with.
“First is the lash stimulating serum,” DeMaio said.
These serums work like a conditioner for your lashes. They contain vitamins, proteins and peptides that promise fuller lashes in just four to six weeks.
Another new category of products designed to help you lash out — treatment mascaras.
“These are traditional mascaras that have some ingredients that we find in skin care products,” DeMaio said.
One contains collagen and promises to lift and plump and lift the lashes as collagen would with your skin.
“They really do help you get a voluminous look,” DeMaio said.
Another secret to fabulous eyes is to lift and separate each lash by wiggling the applicator at the base. There are new, vibrating brushes on the market that will do that work for you.
As for the lash extensions, they get applied to your existing lashes with a medical adhesive. The look lasts for up to six months. A maintenance visit will cost about $125.
