By profession Ria is a registered nurse with a background in pediatric hematology-oncology as well as private family practice. She has always had an avid interest in aesthetics and a desire to pursue her interests.
After having her own eyelashes extended and seeing the wonderful difference but more importantly the need for safe, hygienic and truly skilled lash artists she decided to obtain training in performing eyelash extensions, quickly becoming a noted eyelash extension expert in NYC featured by CBS, VOGUE and other web media. Ria’s talent and expertise has gone beyond NYC and Long island, destination brides and other private clients have had her travel to them both domestically and internationally.
As a nurse she recognized the need for qualified extensionists with only the highest standards of hygienic eyelash application as well as precision technique in application. About the procedure
You will lay down on a comfortable massage table (described as “laying on a cloud” by clients) close your eyes and relax and if you are like most clients you will fall asleep giving new meaning to the term “beauty sleep”. Your eyes will then be prepped and one by one your lashes will be transformed.
Please arrive to your appointment with clean eyes. DO NOT wear mascara; DO NOT use oil based cleansers or moisturizers. DO NOT curl your lashes. You may clean your eyes with a mild water based soap cleanser.
Initial application time can range from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on the amount of lashes applied. This includes time for us to discuss styling and after care.
